Application programming changes which require recoding:
1. The enter and exit strings to switch modes are the same as in version 111.
a. EnterTrueGuiMode is used to enter TrueGUI mode.
b. LeaveTrueGuiMode is used to switch from TrueGUI back to Telnet mode.
c. GetCurrentMode command added. This host command will get a response from the Client of 0 = Telnet Mode, 1 = TrueGUI mode.
Client application programming changes (if you are programming your own client application):
1. The TrueGUIInterface License file has been replaced. (see new features)
New features:
1. TrueGuiUser_serialnumber.Lic and TrueGuiMachine_serialnumber.Lic files now replace the old activation sequence. These new files are emailed to the User's machine and must be place into TrueGui\License.
2. The TrueGUI.exe has been added and enhanced. The "About" page to show version numbers of the critical components.
The About page also now shows the User name and Company name with the software serial number.
3. Serial Numbers are assigned by Alpha Microsystems. The user provides Alpha Microsystems the "User name" and "Company name" the license is issued for.
4. Release TrueGUIHelp.chm has been updated for new features.
5. TrueGuiInterface.chm has been updated to reflect the functional changes mentioned above.
6. TrueGUI Installation instructions file has been updated.
7. iSeries.Exe added for IBM i5 series machines.
