SCO UNIX ® server takes control of .Net on the PC clients!
This company, Genisys, used to be part of the AMOS (Alpha Micro Operating System) community. As with the TeleMarketing application elsewhere in this group, they use MetropoliS but now a version for SCO Unix. They have been big users of Web pages for parts of their product - Rental Software - but the core of their product was using MetropoliS's color character driven screens. Here is a word document with many more screenshots from the What's New section of their website, Genisys-Software.com. - They have learned a lot about how to fit TrueGUI with their application and now plan on moving all 700 or so screens to TrueGUI. Here are just a few of their new (Aug. 2006) TrueGUI screens for their next product release earily in 2007:
Coding Sample: In some of the code examples they have provided, you can see the exact changes they made to support both the old user interface and TrueGUI. We have removed their code at their request to protect their work. If you wish to learn more about their use of TrueGUI, please contact Mike Pischke . - (11-Apr-2007)
